This year marks a meaningful milestone for our community as we celebrate 50 years of care at Puyallup Tribal Health Authority. For five decades, our clinic has stood as a place of healing, resilience, and connection—rooted in the traditions of our people and guided by a shared commitment to community wellness.

As we reflect on this journey, we honor those who came before us—the leaders, providers, staff, and families who built and sustained this vital resource. Their vision and dedication created a foundation that continues to support the health and wellbeing of generations. Throughout the years, PTHA has grown and evolved, but its purpose has remained the same: to care for our people with respect, compassion, and cultural understanding.

This celebration is also about the people who make PTHA what it is today. Our staff, patients, and community members are at the heart of every success story. The relationships built within these walls—between providers and patients, families and caregivers—are what truly define our legacy. As we share historic photos from the past 50 years, we invite you to reflect on the faces, moments, and memories that tell our story.

Looking ahead, we are inspired by the future we are building together. With new programs, expanded services, and continued investment in culturally grounded care, PTHA remains committed to serving our community for generations to come.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this special occasion:

Celebrating 50 Years of Care

Wednesday, June 3rd
5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Puyallup Tribal Health Authority

The evening will begin with a blessing of our buildings, featuring PTHA’s honor song led by our Culture Department. Following the blessing, we will open the mic for community members to share stories, memories, and reflections. Guests will also receive complimentary T-shirts and enjoy a sneak peek of our new timeline boards, which will soon be installed in the clinic. A BBQ dinner will be provided to close out the evening.

We hope you will join us as we honor our past, celebrate our people, and look forward to the next 50 years of care!
